Hello people. Okie. Saturday was spent well with my lovely friends,
WanRu, Gayathri and Su Anne.
Oh yes, SuAnne brought her golden retriever.
So yes, we had Lots of fun!!
Picnic @ Botanics.
Caught sight of alot of caucasian guys with Philippino women.
Then their kids turn out SO CUTE OKAY!
With blue eyes or green eyes that kind.
OMG RIGHT. ((= I know..
So yes, picnic.
We found a shady spot.. placed our mats/bags/newspapers/cloths.
Each one of us had to bring smth. So yes, food galore!
Hmmm.. mouth-watering food. ((=
We ate ALOT. Almost finished everything..
Haha. Then yes, we decided to have fun with the dogg! So yeah, pictures!
Now, just the dog. It's name is PEANUT. ((=
How cute.
Hahaha. It can crawl, it can do half-rolls. It can high-five you. (only SuAnne maybe)
Golden retrievers are so faithful to their owners.
Like when SuAnne went to the toilet, PEANUT kept looking in the direction that she walked away to, and waited there till she returned.
So nice right!! Awww.
Reminds me of the fun times i had with my primary school teacher's dog.
That GR would come and hug you if it sees you for the first time.

Haha. yep. After picnic, we walked with Su Anne and PEANUT all the way back to her house.
but then, PEANUT was too tired. it kept stopping halfway.. and one time it just lay on the pavement. and was panting like mad.
Wan Ru and i tried to carry it for some distance. (it's 39kg btw)
Yeah.. sure was heavy.
We used food to attract it to run/walk..
but sometimes it just stood there and wouldnt wanna move.
Somehow, i wished i could talk to a dog..
can read it's mind. and understand the signal it was trying to give.
Oh wells. In the end, we cabbed to her house (the uncle was nice enough to accept a dog) and yep, met my parents for dinner.
On the whole, it was fun!
Eating the lovely food, enjoying the picturesque scenery,
playing around with PEANUT,
exchanging presents for christmas,
camwhoring, and making funny faces/poses,
running around on the pavements with PEANUT,
walking it home, walking with SuAnne to Holland V (that's where she stays)

One fun-filled packed day for dear REKHA.
Morning
Went to Sheng Shiong to get the OGL camp foodstuff.
We bought things like 6 MILO tins, 12 2L bottles of syrup.. bla bla..
Heavy sehh! So we happily put our groceries into..
the Sheng Shiong trolley and a few baskets.
We walked all the way back to school, with those items..
and guess what, passers-by kept staring at us..
they must be wondering, "what are these kids doing with the SS trolley.."

Hahaha. But it was fun la.
Us, being such GOODY PJC Councilors, we returned the trolley and baskets okay..
Met guy3, did some stuff and yes, HOME-d.
Afternoon
Got ready, left home for Marina Square!
Met up with Preethi, Lauren and Celine!
Omg. Haven seen them in SUCH LONG TIME!! Okay, i saw Celine that day..
but yeah. and i think we all look the same!

HELLO Dear readers!
These few days I've been going out alot. MOVIE MARATHON!
Haha.
MONDAY
Went out to meet pl peeps.
Celine, Lyn, Ee Ling, Kah En and Clara.
We watched BOLT. It's an awesome movie, funny plot.
Baby BOLT is cuter than its full form. No kidding.
Then, we went to LAO BEIJING for a buffet thingy.
Okay la. Ate dumplings, fried pancake, kuo tieh? haha
Oh yes, I L-O-V-E their tomato soup and the dessert.
and the prata, with no fillings inside.
Haha. ((= Delicious. Was so full after that, we walked round PS.

Was glad that i met up with the bunch of them.
Havent seen them in AGES.
and LYN CUT HER HAIR!!

TUESDAY
Woke up kinda early. 9plus.
then i went to meet Isabelle at Bishan before..
before meeting the guys at Vivo.
So in the train, i was happily listening to my music..
when suddenly Isaac sms-ed me..
"where r u?"
So we continued sms-ing.
and He and EUGIN, the piglets, said that they're already @ Vivo.
Okay lor. Fine. i'm the late one la. (thanks Isabelle!)
haha. then yes, those people told me change of plans.

Turns out, those 2 guys were STILL IN THE MRT.

then yeah, went to watch TWILIGHT with those piggies.

Haha. ehh it's freak awesome. The screen is like HUGE.
The seats are like.. ALOTTT.
Haha. TWILIGHT is nice. Mysterious setting as expected.
But then i felt that the first part was SO SLOW-MOVING..
I could have slept if i were sleepy. Seriously.
Was quite disappointed actually. Thought it would have been more action-packed.
Effects are awesome, to the extent i had to cover my ears.
Super loud. I think your eardrums can just BURSTT.
After movie, we ate at BK. Okay la, wasnt hungry.
Then to TOYS R US. This Eugin couldnt tell apart a bear from a dog.
OMG. -__- LOL-ed. ohhh PICTURES.

Well, we made a hell load of noise at TOYS R US. I think the staff wish we would never come back. But the stupid store kinda packaged most of their stuff.
So there was hardly much toys to play around with. SAD okay.
I miss the olden times when we could play around with almost EVERYTHING!!

WEDNESDAY (today)
Oh, what did i do? Let's see.
I cleared my table a little. Took some photos of the Kazak dolls..
cute eh? Haha. and check out Pom Pom's drawing. He's super cute la, to have drawn such wonderful thing. haha.
He drew that during the leadership talk at SYC. I was supposed to give him my drawn paper but i forgot. SORRY POM!! I'll scan it and send to you. Haha.

title:{SYC 08!}
Okay people. HEYO!
Time to blog about SYC 2008. Well, actually I wasn't looking forward to it at first.
Coz i came back from Aussie on the 2nd. Settle Orientation stuff in the next few days.
Metro SIF on 6th Dec. Then Standard Chartered on the 7th (2am to 2pm).
So SYC (Sunburst Youth Camp) was like 7th to 13th Dec.
SIAN. I was so sleepy after Standard Chartered.
Really envy people who can run continuously for 42km. Seriously.
They rock! ((= Haha. Was fun being the drinks station crew.
It was rather chaotic though, we had to fill cups of water, then lay them out properly on the table. and only to find out that a second later, they're gone. Taken by the runners who just run past the station and swipe the drink, pushing down the other cups next to them.
Oh wells, it sure was a great experience! ((=
So i returned home, packed my bag and cab-ed to RELC.
Checked in and joined Eugin, Suhaime and XueTing to bring Malaysians around.
Okay la. Wasnt very enthu about going anywhere, coz i was so sleepy.
Kept yawning. and oh yes, we went to the esplanade area, and far east, and finally had dinner at Marina Square foodcourt.
Haha. They attempted to do a jumpshot, forming SYC. and i think they did pretty well huh. ((=
Day 2
Ahh. Woke up early in the morning. we took this ferry to OBS!
Whee. It felt good to be back. ((=
So we had some high rope elements thing in the morning. Was belaying most of the time..
and my arms were hurting, i swear.
And the instructor still made me climb to the top.
Reluctantly, i climbed... and climbed..
till i reached the top. Okay la, even though i've done these stuff over and over, it was a great accomplishment to have gotten up there, faster than SOMEONE, haha. okay. and yes, even with tired arms.
Afternoon, was station games time. Okay la. Our group had a rather bad start, we couldnt really get the max points from each station. So to build the raft, we combined with another group and erm, i think our raft kinda failed. There was no time, so group 8 happily went rafting on the group 7's raft. ((= fun stuff.
Night time - CAMPFIRE! So long since we had one. It was awesome. The spirit was high and we were all gay! *laughs. We were playing with sparklers, running here and there and screaming our hearts out. It was cool. Fun. Dinner was superb. I think i ate 6 satays. ((= Yum Yum.
Day 3
We departed for NIE/NTU. The lectures were rather mundane, but the magic show with liquid nitrogen was INTERESTING SHIT. Coolness. Eugin volunteered to do smth, haha. I think i video-ed him down. ((=
Afternoon, we went to Science Centre. Was feeling sleepy yet again. Haha. Nothing much caught my eyes. so was just fooling around with Tatip, Isaac, Eugin and some others. Haha. Oh yes, there was this show at the OMNI Theatre. I slept during the show, was too boring for me. Haha. Im sure MOST of them did too. ((= yay. im not the only one.

Oh yes, was supposed to bring the Malaysians out to Mustafa, but eugin and i couldnt coz we had our exhibition meeting at 9. So yeah, sadness. But it's okay. I remember, Isaac and Eugin will follow me to my room, coz i was too scared to go alone to the 16th floor. The floor with nobody. The floor which was always deserted. And not to mention, i always get locked out of my room. Coz someone else has the key and yeah.. oh wells. Nvm.
Day 4
Ahh. Visit to NEWater plant in the morning. It was boring i tell you. My third time there. So yeah, i fell asleep during the videos. But took lotsa random photos. ((= Yayness. Oh yes, then i found out that the Kazak guys all bought a camera each. and it's the SAME camera. Black Sony Cybershot, 10.1 megapixels, touch screen. For like 300 US dollars each. Not too bad la. They LOVE LOVE LOVE the camera man. ((= Cool stuff. Haha. Adil kept taking videos and photos of the place and yes, DUH, i was in most of the photos. haha. I love him. ((=
Haha. see what i mean? Total randomness. ADIL, send me THOSE PHOTOS!!
Afternoon, we went over to City gallery. and Ale and I attempted to pinch some skyscrapers. Haha. So lame. -_____-
Then came URBAN CHALLENGE! Whee. It's AMAZING RACE around Singapore. It was totally fun, especially because our group completed ALL 12 Stations. and we got to Unlock the mystery location thingy. Sad that we didnt have time to go there, but we sure had alot of fun, running from places to places. Taking trains/buses.. here there everywhere. And yes, we got this huge framed montage of all the places we visited. Okay maybe not all, but a few of the places we visited. and oh yes, PEEKTURES!

Day 5
Oh yes, the day i woke up SUPER LATE. Coz we only slept at 5plus. Set alarm to wake up at 6plus, but i overslept and TA-DA. Woke up close to 8, when we're suppsoed to assemble at 8.30. My room mate was still sleeping too. Wow. haha.
There was this lecture in the morning, about leadership. Wasnt paying attention. Instead, was drawing and scribbling around. POM POM was so cute, he decided to draw smth nice for me. Then i drew a hippo, in attempts to wake Zhang and Adil up. Those sleepyheads! Haha. ((=
Had lunch @ Hort Park. Got a bit darker i think. Haha. Nvm. -__- Picnic lunch was okay, i LOVED the eclair!! Omg love. and oh yes, my chicken kept dropping to the floor. and yes, we had this little "exhibition" gathering to "discuss" about some stuff. haha. the various countries thought us their dances, but i couldnt really remember all. so yeah.. To date, i only know the BOOM TARAT TARAT song from the Philippines. PSPS. =(
In the evening, was like the cultural exhibition. Got alot of FREEBIES! and LOTSA pictures. ((= First up with the Indian delegates. Mahita and Krutarth.
Haha. This is with the Thailand peeps. Half of them rather.
Oh, how could i forget our own Singaporeans. This is Sarah Nat. The funny girl who always thinks she didnt do her best. OH PLEASE! you're awesome okayy!! and ahem, i think John has smth against you. You're great. ((= Loves.
With the Malaysians at their Malaysia booth. They gave me ALOT of stuff la. Keychains, notebooks, fans, hand-clappers, Kris-like thing.. and many others.
Ahhh, welcome the Laos peeps. Haha. Tock, and Tatip and i dunno who. Haha. ((= They're all fun people. Missing them already..
Haha then, kathleen and I decided to go round taking photos with our friends. Then, the philipines booth caught our eye. So yeah, we took photos with them, who decided to Pose All day long, till their turn to present. ((= The guys were SUPER daring. They were wearing this piece of cloth to cover their ahem, and their backside was like revealing the WHOLE time. Seriously. But i think they all look good.
This is DOO. ((= My lovely Room mate, from LAOS. We always talk about the days' experience and she'll ask me questions about some of the guys @ SYC. Apparently, she finds them good-looking. Some, i agree. haha. ((=
Haha. One of the guys i miss the most, ADIL!!
He is super cute. Yes, everyone knows that. haha. He's such a talented guy. he plays Kazakhstan's National instrument, the DUMBRA. Presenting it to you guys, TA-DA.
See what i mean, he's freaking cute. but then right, his handwriting is erm.. abit.. unreadable. So i keep sending mails to the wrong email addy. Hope he'll reply to the one i just sent ytd. Oh ADIL!
And oh yes,
This is ZERE. She's SUPER pretty. The prettiest amongst all the Kazak girls. She's super quiet though. but when we open up to her, she's really funny. She laughs almost all the time and yes, she dances well. ((= Love her. She gave me this necklace thing on the last day..
Oh did i mention, all the Kazakhstan people are musicians in Kazak. How cool is that!
At night, went out with PERF CO (isaac, Eugin and Huahui) to Far East plaza. Ate at Pastamania. The stupid people put SO much chilli in my pasta.. i couldnt really eat it. Managed to finish it in the end.. Far east really has nothing nice to buy. Seriously. It's like EEEEE. Hate it. Will never go there again.
Day 6
Day started out pretty fine. We (huahui, eugin and isaac plus me) went to PS to buy gifts for our foreigner friends. Daiso is my new found love. Seriously, the things there are pretty. ((= haha. Bought alot of sutff. Got some random gifts for some people. Then eugin ad i headed down to cineleisure. In search of CITRUS SOX. turns out, dun have at all. In the end, i bought this ear ring set thing from DIVA. haha. Okay, then we walked all the way, with Adren and some foreigners to far east AGAIN. bought this really cute doll for Tatip and DOO and some shoe lace thing for ADIL. Then yeah, eugin and i cabbed back to hotel. Quickly showered and was just in time for the cultural night performances.
Isaac recorded down the performances till his bat went flat. SEND ME AHH!! I recorded down only LAOS's performance. Super touching. The song they sang was like AHHH!!
Took pictures. and oh yes, on stage, was like crying away when i bid farewell to people. Esp ADIL and POM POM. okay pictures!

Haha. And this is Fui San. our ACE and participant from Malaysia. ((= Cool eh.
At night, while bidding farewell to the Kazak people, SHE came. Omg. Had to rush to the room to yeah.. oh wells. nvm. then was busy writing notes and stuff for the other people back in 1612. Isaac and eugin were there with me and yeah, those sleepyheads kept sleeping. and i tried SO HARD to wake them up when it was 1am.
First, i tickled their feet. NO RESPONSE.
Then i hit their thigh area with some book thing. NO RESPONSE.
called out "eugin", "isaac", NO RESPONSE.
OMG. last attempt, I HIT THEM rather hard with the book thing.. and finally, they woke up.
Haha. but it sure was fun. Was laughing at the fact that i couldnt wake them up. haha. ((=
Went for meeting at 1am. Felt so sleepy. Was sleeping for most of the time. haha.
Day 7
I woke up because of ISAAC!!
hahaha. He called my hp. I didnt wake up.
He called my room number, i didnt wake up.
He knocked on the door, then i finally got up.
Me the sleepyhead went to open the door to find out who's there and the door closed.
SHUT! like AHHHH. key's inside. Im outside.
hahaha. had to call reception to come open. damn malu.
Packed bag and got down to send malaysia off.
They're awesome bunch of people, seriously.
Indonesia was in the bus with us too. Was telling them lame jokes and all..
Then it was time to part. Felt so emotional at the airport.
Especially coz we kept playing the "i will remember" song.
and yeah, made the biggest mistake of my life.
i didnt send Thailand, Laos and Kazak off. The countries i was closest to.
DAMN!
after that, Mac-ed at the airport and bus-ed home.
Oh yes, in the bus, SUPER MALU.
Coz i was listening to the I WILL REMEMBER song, and tears rolled down my cheeks.
then this old lady next to me was like, DONT CRY, DONT WORRY.
I was like HUH?!?! hahaha.
omg. malu to the max.
the bus journey was rather long. couldnt stand sitting there for ages.
So i alighted at some random bus stop and cab-bed home.
super broke now. People owe me money, i owe Eugin money.

All in all, i think SYC was such a blast, it's a camp i'll never ever forget in my life!
